Emily began her storytelling career early, telling herself epics at naptime before she could read. As she grew, this turned into an insatiable love for writing, which has produced over a dozen novels and short stories to date.
When not writing, she enjoys riding dressage, Irish dance, studying tall ships, and playing viola. She is fluent in ASL, and is studying Italian, Irish, Norwegian, and Dutch.
Why the Herosinger?
In olden times, heroes had bards to sing of them so that their great deeds would not be forgotten. Emily’s love for writing is born of her desire for heroes and their acts of courage to be remembered.
So, like the ancient bards, she sings of heroes.
